that morning glow

We’ve all had one of those mornings. We went out the night before only to wake up looking anything but refreshed. In fact just this past weekend, after celebrating a friend’s birthday, I woke up with lackluster and tired skin. Oh and a blemish (or three, ugh!), but that deserves another post altogether. Thankfully there are some great products out there that will take your morning-after skin from dull to radiant in just seconds. Apply one of these light-reflecting luminizers to your eye area and cheekbones, grab a coffee and no one will ever guess that you’re running on less than 4 hours of sleep because you were out dancing all night.

1. NARS Illuminator
Grab this multifunctional liquid illuminator in Orgasm, NARS’ signature shade. Its peachy shimmer glow is flattering on any skin tone and doubles as a light blush. It’s also the perfect product to mix with your foundation.
2. Benefit High Beam
This luminizer has a cult following. Its angelic shimmering pink colour creates an eye-catching radiant complexion. It’s also perfect to apply on the brow bone for a little lift and under the eyes to combat dark circles.
3. Laura Mercier Secret Finish
This product is best used after applying your makeup. Dust it on for a healthy glow and refreshing radiance. To give your skin an extra boost, Secret Finish is also packed with Vitamins A and E.
4. Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Illuminating Serum
Fortified with Amazonian clay, this illuminator nourishes your skin as it brightens and helps absorb excess oil. On top of that, it has vitamins and tea extracts that bring out your skin’s natural glow.
